"Reification-Confusion"
Being confused can channel a series of emotions. In my experiences it’s mostly rage, frustration, and sadness. Constantly searching for an answer and an escape from the feeling of being lost and misunderstood sometimes makes me just want to literally “rip my head open” and let everything just go.
The personification of being confused to me represents wanting an escape or an answer, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned in life. You won’t always get an answer, closure, or the solution to your problems. And it’s being ok with that takes time too. Be patient with yourselves and graceful too. Reification- Confusion is about giving the idea of confusion too much space in your mind to the point it becomes a physical representation of you and your actions. The grace we give ourselves while unlearning or trying to understand parts of our lives that are new has to be overwhelmingly present for us to continue to progress.
