In more recent years, I have been focused on creating artwork that tells a story through me as a person and the culture I grew up in or around. The intention behind this piece was to more or less capture the energy of a block party in summer. People playing games, dancing, getting along, etc. This was the beginning of many works to come that highlight the scenes and life I am a part of every day.
