"This collection merges contemporary fashion with the iconography of self-reliance, strength, and determination embodied by Black cowboys from the late 19th to early 20th centuries—an era marked by slavery and profound prejudice. It not only addresses the historical conflicts between Black individuals and societal structures but also celebrates the resilience and solidarity that emerge from our connections. This work reflects the strength, unity, and optimism that we, as future generations, must embrace to continue to enlighten, educate, and forge new narratives for ourselves.
