This piece is an appreciation piece for my love for basketball. Basketball played a major influence in my life and was one of my first loves growing up. In what I’ve experienced playing basketball almost everywhere, the community of basketball is and has always been one that will showcase true sportsmanship and love for the sport.

My goal for this drawing was to incorporate multiple styles and combine them in a cohesive manner. The stylistic sketch lines overlaying the realistic portrait and flowers help me achieve this goal.
