“Keep ya head up”

“Keep Ya Head Up” is a representation of a well-known idea when getting your hair done specifically in Black culture, or keep your head still. That being a very common experience I had to go through as a child growing up it resonated with me in this current day. I now take this saying and attribute it to my afflictions and struggles by reminding myself to “Keep Ya Head Up” or just keep going. Things will get better as long as I am looking on the bright side of every situation I face.
